Royal Family Release New Portraits From Prince Louis' Christening

A week after their youngest son's christening, the royal family have released a series of intimate portraits.

Photographed by Matt Holyoak in the gardens of Clarence House, The Duchess of Cambridge cradles Prince Louis, who is wearing a replica of the royal christening robe, which was created in 1841 for Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria.

"Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure. I only hope I have captured some of that joy in my photographs," Holyoak told The Daily Mail.

While the Queen and Prince Philip were not present in the photos, The Duchess of Cambridge's family took centre stage.

Kate's parents Carole and Michael, along with Louis' pregnant aunt Pippa and her husband James Matthews all feature in the group shots.

Newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan, who looked stylish in an olive-green Ralph Lauren outfit and Stephen Jones hat, were also in attendance, along with Louis' siblings Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3.
